This Privacy Policy describes how the iOS app Chinese Calendar & Seasons (“the App”) handles information.
The App does not collect personal data. There is no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.
We do not collect, sell, or share personal information. Calendar calculations (Gregorian dates, Chinese lunar calendar interpretation, solar terms, pentads, festivals, Sanfu, Shujiu, and related cultural notes) are performed on your device.
The App does not require an account, login, email sign-in, or social authentication.
The App does not include analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies. We do not track users across apps or websites.
The App does not request or collect location data. “Today” uses your device’s civil calendar date; Chinese calendar interpretation uses that civil year-month-day with a Shanghai civil-day reference for traditional markers—not GPS location.
Preferences such as language and display options are stored locally on your device (for example via UserDefaults). They are not uploaded to our servers.
Core calendar functionality works offline. The App does not require a network connection to calculate or display calendar content.
The App is suitable for general audiences (intended App Store age rating 4+) and does not knowingly collect children’s data.
If this policy changes in a future app update, we will update this document and the effective date.
